Posting
a "Free to a Good Home" ad places your pet in a very dangerous
situation. Unscrupulous people often answer these ads, posing as a family
that wants your pet for a child, for example, when they really want your
pet to be used in rituals, animal fighting training, snake feed, to be
consumed as food, or some other cruel purpose.
